Answer

We typically charge hourly at $75. The typical website re-design (from scratch) begins at about $2000 and works up from there. In order to provide an accurate estimate we speak with you in detail about your needs. We have never had a project estimate (based on the scoped project) go over estimated cost, so you can count that our estimate is accurate. If we under-estimate the scope, we do not charge you extra.

For logo and print design, estimates begin around $500.

We realize that every project is unique, no project is too small or too large. If you have a lower budget project please contact us, we would be happy to talk with you about your design needs.

Answer

There are several reasons for this choice. Primarily, we do not want to overcharge you. Typically fixed-priced design assumes the client that requires many revisions. If you are easy-going and require only one revision, fixed-pricing may be perhaps an overcharge since this assumes a client that may have 10 or 12 rounds of revisions. Charging hourly ensures that you get the quality you need at a fair price. We provide detailed hourly reports of how your time has been utilized so you can easily keep track at any point in the project where you stand.

Answer

Upon completion of your website, we always submit your website for consideration into the major search engines. It usually takes 1-4 weeks depending on the site for Google to list your domain.

For immediate listing and priority in search engines we also can set up Google AdWords. Depending on your target market, it can range from 10 cents a click and up. These listings are typically the ones in the right side and highlighted at the top of your search results.

Search engine optimization is a science in it’s own. Anyone who can guarantee you the first listing on a page without paying for ad listings is probably lying. There are many on-going factors that result in your ranking.

Some are:
Age of the site: Google prefers sites that have been around longer, your newer URL may take some time to get priority
Referrals: Linking to your site from reliable sources
Code compliance: Your content is number 1 for search engines, be sure to write detailed information about your product

We do NOT do Flash websites. Why? It is almost impossible for search engines to read them. If you want any fun animations, etc many of the same effects can be done in JQuery and HTML5.

Answer

This is usually the first question most clients ask. Typically assuming a timely basis medium sized sites can be completed in a month or less.

This time estimate depends on the back and forth between you and us and the availability of assets at the start of the project. For instance if you need us to contract a photographer, the length of time may increase.

If you have an unusually tight deadline, please contact us. We are more than willing to help you meet your goals. E-mail us today for a consultation and time estimate.

Answer

Of course! We are available to talk on the phone/email at any time. If you still wish to speak in person we can use Skype or your preferred method of video conferencing.

Answer

It depends. We have our specialties and we pride ourselves in being honest if it is out of our scope. After speaking with you about your website and how it was created, we can provide an estimate to fix the errors. In some cases a re-code of the website will be recommended. Our initial consultation is free, however, sometimes to properly understand the scope of the effort we need to look through your existing code. A final report will be submitted on our findings within the website.

Answer

No, we leave that to the hosting experts that keep thousands of sites running day in and out. We have worked with companies such as Host Gator, Yahoo, Lunarpages and GoDaddy for hosting, so no need to switch if you are happy with your current vendor.

We are always happy to talk with your hosting company for you if you should run into any issues. Leave the technical stuff to us! Its what we are here for.

Answer

We will never outsource a project. We take pride in the design/development. After all, you’ve entrusted us, not someone else. We may hire outside photographers, etc but we will first speak with you before completing any such request.
